Use this to never skip the gym again

This email will be brief but will be the exact thing you need to transform your body in no time. If you struggle with staying consistent with your workouts, read this email to the end.

The only way to achieve results in the gym is to keep showing up.

This doesn't mean once a week.

Or every once in a while.

In order to achieve real results, you need to be showing up multiple days a week.

Remember, improving your health is a never ending journey.

It's not about achieving X goal.

It's about building a healthy LIFESTYLE.

The only way to build a healthy lifestyle is to have consistency in the frequency of workouts.

Luckily for you, I'm about to break down my super simple formula for always showing up to the gym.

If you follow this workout formula, you will never skip the gym again.

For this example, let's assume you want to go to the gym 4 days a week to lift weights.

Here's how you can optimize your schedule to make sure you're always motivated to show up.

DAY 1: The workout you want to do the most

This is typically arms or shoulders for me. This makes you feel good and builds momentum for the rest of the week

DAY 2: The workout you’re avoiding

You’re already feeling good from your previous workout, use that momentum to do your hardest workout (typically leg day)

DAY 3: The workout that puts the least amount of mental strain on you

You just busted your ass, make this next workout one that doesn’t require a ton of mental effort from you (for me it’s back)

DAY 4: The workout you need the most

You just had a “lighter” day. Use this next workout to hit a muscle you want to grow the most (chest for me). It should align on a Friday/Saturday giving you that good feeling going into the weekend

If you only plan to workout 3 days a week your schedule would look like this:

Day 1: The workout you want to do the most (arms/shoulders)

Day 2: The workout you're avoiding (legs)

Day 3: The workout you that puts the least amount of strain on you + The workout you need the most (back and chest)

Building consistency in the gym is all about leveraging motivation.

It's easy to show up when you know it's going to be a workout you love.

And it's easier to show up to a workout you're avoiding when you know your previous one made you feel so good.

Optimize your workout schedule to leverage motivation in your favor.

Follow this schedule and you'll never skip the gym again.

Cheers,

MCH

Read this email till the end to drop all excuses when it comes to transforming your health. Story time. 3 years ago my doctor gave me some news that changed my life. As he looked over my chart, I noticed he was looking at the numbers longer than usual. This wasn't good... He looked up at me and said, "Your blood pressure is much higher than we would like. If we're not able to get this down, you're going to have to start taking blood pressure medication..." I could feel the pit in my stomach...

Yesterday I took my son to the park to give my wife some time to relax and unwind. As my son was playing, I noticed a father walking up to me. "Hey I recognize you from the gym" As he said that, another father watching his kid said "I go there too! I noticed the two of you as well". For the next 20 minutes we started talking about the struggle and benefits of balancing our health, fitness, and family. You could tell these guys were really trying to make their health a priority.
